However, a new era dawns as real estate development firm PUMA Development, in collaboration with the City of Sugar Land, unveils ambitious plans for a $1 billion makeover of the 40-acre site. The proposed mixed-use development, set to unfold over the next 7 to 10 years, aims to restore the historic structures and introduce a dynamic blend of residential, retail, and office spaces. The 660 apartments and homes, 150,000 square feet of retail space, and 300,000 square feet of office space promise a vibrant transformation for this iconic landmark.
